Career Coaches - Waste of time or major time-saver?

Of course as a coach, I am biased.  So I am going to say that you can save a whole bunch of time by working with a coach (and money).  But here are a few reasons why you should work with a coach.

Learn how to close the deal.  I hired someone who "left $10,000 on the table" because she agreed to our offer without asking for more.  I was ready to go higher but she didn't ask.  Yikes!
I ALWAYS coach clients how to get a better deal even in bad economic times.

Send the right resume.  People waste time by sending confusing, badly written and unfocused resumes.  Those resumes go in the trash and they don't get a call or an interview.
I help clients format a resume that will get results.

Interviewing.  I interviewed three people for the same job.  NONE of them could give me reasons why I should hire them.  Even though according to their resumes they have perfect backgrounds.  They didn't know how to present examples and stories of what they did and how those accomplishments would translate to the employer.
I train the client in creating wonderful stories for their interview that get them the job.
